Jobs go sideways all the time. Heck, a job that doesn’t go wrong in some way is almost Urban Legend. Everybody knows of someone who has been on one, and when the job does go wrong, you try to pick up the pieces as best you can. Sometimes, though, things go so sideways that your entire team ends up upside down and all you can do is hope you survive long enough to make it back to your crib.
