In 1996, Toxic Bag Productions' groundbreaking line of sound effects CDs introduced Game Masters across all role-playing genres to the possibilities of adding ambience to their games with sound and music. Today those high-quality sound effects are available as mp3 downloads here at DriveThruRPG. In addition to our classic "Game Masters Collection" and "Battles" sounds we continue to provide new ambiences, music, backgrounds, and one-shot effects (spells, skirmishes, laser gun shots, and the like) for a variety of genres.

If you're a GM who strives to create an enriched and immersive environment for your players by incorporating sound into your games, we have the sounds to help you do that.

Steve Baldwin
An accomplished sound designer for Chicago theatre, Steve has over fifteen years of experience field recording and creating sound effects. He's also the creator of Specimen and author of the Battles of the Zombie Apocalypse books.

Joe Griffin
Joe has been a professional sound engineer, composer and designer for over 20 years, and has created music and sound designs for theatre, film, television and advertising. His work has been heard on major TV networks, radio stations and in movie theaters all across the United States. He lives in Chicago with an ever-growing collection of microphones and guitars.
