Micro Dungeons

ADD TO WISHLIST >

This is a collection of one inch by one inch dungeon tiles that use modified Dragonlock Clips to clip together. Sometimes you have to build a HUGE dungeon that could take up three 4X8 tables if you did it to scale. With these, you could fit that dungeon on your dining room table, and still have room for character sheets.

Maybe you are into OSR games with huge sprawling dungeons, or you prefer pen and paper scale. This set is comprised of pen and paper scale 3D printable dungeon terrain.

Maybe you only have access to a small table when you play, these are perfect for that.

THESE SHOULD BE PRINTED WITH SUPPORT everywhere, open support settings in Cura, the only thing you want to change is "Support Z Distance". Change that setting to ".2", that will automatically change a couple of other settings, too, that's fine. The supports should just fall right out after printing.

Print settings are either FDG mini settings, or FDG terrain settings. If you do terrain settings, change the wall count to "3"

I just picked these up, I love the idea and they are adorable printed!

One quick question, is there a recommended scale conversion if you're trying to lay out a pre-made dungeon from a scenario? Something like every block is 25 feet so you have a rough not quite to scale but close estimate when figuring out how big make some hallways and rooms.

Thanks for picking them up! Yeah it's very abstract, but I think 4x4 or 5x5 would be accurate. I figure the narrows to be 10' wide if that helps

Love the micro dungeons. They are very useful for gaming or just creating a dungeon on a small space. Thanks

Thanks for the support! I just put some LED models in the store, and yes I'm working on towers at the moment. I have something big in mind for micro dungeons, just haven't started everything yet. LED volcano, dungeon lake, towers, keep, and who knows what else. I'm glad you like them, I think they're cool, lol.

A list of pieces, and if it includes mini figures like the cover pic shows please.
At least I think that's a mini fig in that quarter sized corridor turn.

I will add a list of parts. Trying to figure out images that will stick to the page instead of being a link, haven't heard back from DrivethruRPG on exactly how to do that

There are two micro minis, basically pawns. One hero, and one monster. I may or may not add more depending on feedback. The thought was most players have a regular mini that reps their PC, so the GM basically prints off enough pawns to rep each player and paints them a different color for combat initiative. Same theory with monsters. I could add a big boss or something, I guess.

This set sounds great but could use some pictures to show potential buyers what they look like. Also a list of the different pieces would also help.

Agreed. I want to know what/how many pieces I'm getting before I buy something like this.

Looks like around 40 models. They looks pretty well-done. Going to try printing a few tonight.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
