Coriolis: Tanapur Corvette

ADD TO WISHLIST >

Although the Tanapur is probably the most commonly seen of the ships that have been traced back to the lost shipyard of Khiravo, there is nothing common about it.

This illustrated module includes everything you need to use this ship concept in play, whether it be as a PC ship or for use by NPCs in your campaign.

The module contains:

  • Full colour artwork depicting the Tanapur Corvette
  • A detailed deck plan, also in colour
  • Blueprint showing the ship from different angles
  • Descriptions of the ship and its interior
  • Stats for using the ship in play
  • Information and stats for the lost Khiravo shipyard
The price of this module is determined by the amount of illustrations, as these take a lot of time to make.

PURCHASER
Hi, what is the room behind the bridge used for please?
If I was able to add my own touch, I would make that the rec/kitchenette room. Then add a door to the hold where the table(?) is against the side of the hold, so its easier to get hold items in and out. And add some more storage around there. Just my 2d, as I move things for a living, access is king!
Great timing as this is exactly what I was looking for in my One to One game.

Hi Allan,
Thank you for your feedback!
You are quite right in pointing out that the room behind the bridge has no declared function. It has two seats for passengers and a console/workstation that could be for communication or for research/analysis/database-stuff depending on what you want. Essentially I left it blank to give players/GM a space to add what they feel is missing.

As for your point about the cargo hold and access; also very valid points. This is however a quirk of Khiravo ships, they were built according to a logic that doesn't, and shouldn't necessarily, make sense to the people operating them today. The Tanapur is not a freighter by design and the function of the cargo hold space varies between ships, in some cases it 's a holding cell, in others it's a workshop or laboratory (or any other module). This may upset you (seeing that you move stuff for a living) but yes, I intentionally gave the ship bad access in the hope that it would add to its personality and 'otherness'....See more

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
