What Remains Of Richter Krankenhaus

What Remains of Richter Krankenhaus is a Weird Horror Fantasy adventure for characters of 2nd to 4th level in The World's Most Ubiquitous Role Playing Game.  The adventure takes place in a post-World War I German insane asylum haunted by dead patients, living experiments, and the cruel ghost of the Doctor whose actions warped the premises into a demiplane that sucks in denizens of other worlds to allow her to experiment on them.

The statistics are written for OSR, but 5e conversions are included.

Players will be hunted by a nearly unstoppable creature while they try to line their pockets and break the curse on the Hospital so that they can all go home.  They'll bear witness to the horrific treatments the patients were subjected to while simultaneously witnessing their humanity in other haunting moments.  They'll encounter the seemingly monstrous experiments of the Doctor that can be handled completely without shedding blood, but grueling fights are in order if the players push for violence.  There are sophisticated traps and puzzles that demand that players pay attention to the finer details.  All in all, it should be pretty cool.

DISCLAIMER: This PDF has NO ARTWORK and the maps kind of look like ass.  This is mostly here to serve as a precursor of what's to come, and to give people an opportunity to get a taste of the world that is being presented.

The money will go toward funding the BIG BOOK I'm working on which will take this dungeon and increase the scope massively.  The players will be able to partake in a massive hex-crawl decades after the events of WRoRK (assuming the players did not succeed in banishing The Doctor's spirit), where the city of Hildeheim has been sucked in, along with regions of Germanic folklore and some scatterings of more traditional fantasy.  The hospital itself will have grown with a subterranean megadungeon beneath the building where The Doctor's research yields even graver results.  The book will have professional artwork, layout, and maps, and will be written for 5e to take characters from levels 1 to 10.
