PKD: Phiction-Knosis-Deth

Phiction-Knosis-Deth is a rules-lite RPG of 1970s paranoid conspiracy and investigation. It contains a 5-page player's guide and a 5-page gamemaster's guide of brutally efficient rules designed to plunge players into a terrifying vortex of unstable reality. Players will take on the role of an out-of-their-depth average Dick or Jane called from their mundane life to serve as cosmic cannon fodder in a conflict they neither started nor fully understand.

P-K-D has been intentionally designed to accommodate both longer, investigative campaigns and  pick-up-and-play, fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants RP sessions. The basic roll-under system is simple, and character creation is lightning-fast. The game is also sprinkled liberally throughout with helpful random tables for the gamemaster to get things going quickly.

Along with a basic setting and rules system, P-K-D offers an exportable mechanic for charting and resolving the universe-melting paradoxes that can come with time-travel, overlapping realities, or world-altering magic. It's not just the PCs who go insane in P-K-D, it's the universe itself!
