Absolutely perfect little village that is great for dropping into a campaign or using as a Witcher style one-shot. Cursed village that is ruined by day and intact by night with a hidden cave beneath the well hiding a dark shrine. The story hooks almost write themselves. I plan on using it as a stop over point while my party are travelling. Getting late into the night when they are beginning to think about making camp, a quaint little village with lights shining in the windows and a small but bustling looking inn will appear on the road ahead of them. When they no doubt stop there to rest they will find friendly townspeople quick to introduce themselves and engage in a bit of gossip. When they awake to find the town ruined and overgrown around them they will be able to poke around the ruins and find hints and clues as to what fate befell the village. I am thinking a letter which woman in town was going to send to her sister is half buried in a small chest in one of the houses wherein she talks about having heard strange sounds near the well at night. A mouldering journal in the ruins of the church with the last and only intact page mentioning the cleric's misgivings about one of the village's newest members and dead flowers and grass around the base of the well. The shrine under the well will have notes referencing a plan to curse the town, the only way to break the cycle will require waiting until nightfall and... who knows, too many ideas. Convince the one person 'dreaming' the village into being each night that they are dead and need to move on. Perhaps each night is the same over and over and the player's will have to follow each person's actions until they piece the clues together and determine who it was who cursed the town and stop them before midnight when it all starts over again. The reason that I really like the map is that, as well as the high quality, it's one that instantly sparks a bunch of story ideas just by looking at it and is superb for sliding into to just about any game.

The day/night dynamic of this map was really cool. I implemented it in Roll20, and was able to change day into night right in front of my player's eyes, so they got to see the world shift just as their character did. The secret chamber at the bottom of the well fit perfectly into my story, and the map was just big enough to explore in a single gaming session, and laid out weel enough for our party's rogue to have to sneek around buildings, peaking in windows, and duck between gaps in the buildings to avoid being seen by wandering undead. All and all, this was a great, unique map which played perfectly into my campaign and saved me dozens of hours of effort. Strongly recommended!
